1967: Mr. Ed Apologizes for Racist Tirade During Stand-Up Comedy Set

Despite appearing on one of the most popular sitcoms of the decade, Mr. Ed’s career wouldn’t endure the ugly diatribe aimed at several ethnic members of the audience. The famous horse would leave show business and was last seen homeless in the streets of Hollywood asking for loose change or apples.

    That Wonderful series STAR … “Mr. Ed” Retired after the show to a ranch North Of Los Angeles … And the Star who played “Wilbur” was known to go & Visit His ‘Co-Star’ Frequently for Years ! 😊

    I heard Mr. Ed retired to a posh, upscale stud ranch where he bangs sweet-faced young mares and collects a few bucks from each foal he sires. Livin’ the High Life!
