1973: Richard Nixon Caught Stealing Towels from Watergate Hotel

The scandal would cast a shadow on Nixon’s presidency, and ultimately led to him resigning, the first sitting President to ever do so. Several years later, Nixon would famously admit to British television reporter David Frost: “I’m saying when the President takes towels from hotels, it’s not illegal!”

After 51 years the government releases more about the Watergate break-in. It sounds like Nixon stoled towels
from the Watergate, Nixon’s A.G. Mitchell was having the Plumbers place them back in the hotel. When they got
picked by the D.C Police. The Dems and FBI said they were planting bugs. The then MSM ran with the story “Nixon
was bugging the DNC at the Watergate. Then Sen. Biden was tasked with squashing the bugs. For 51 years he has
worked behind the scene. Today on the veiw he showed the ladies how he would squash the bugs.
