When Jimmy Carter turned over the canal to Panama, which we, the U.S. built at great cost, they could not afford to operate it, so we stepped up and have been financing it, again at great cost. Panama has charged us a small fortune to use it so we should take back what we bought and paid for and run it as a successful business venture for our own gratification.
I don’t think it will happen. It’s not being used by the bigger cargo ships anymore and it can’t be enlarged.
How in the Hell did Panama end up with control over the Canal that the United States built ? Did even more anti American rhetoric begin after its completion ?

Trump should stick to things he is knowledgeable about. ie. toilets – dumpsters – garbage pits – sink holes – edible fat – ladies of the night & how not to get drafted into military service. What a putz and when the history is written about his Presidency, he will go down and one of the worst 5 ever to inhabit the office of the POTUS. I expect to hear about his heart attack caused by all that extra weight that he is carrying around. It’s a wonder that he had enough energy to swing a golf club. I can only imagine that the only exercise he gets on a daily basis is from wiping his ass after he takes his daily shit. God must have had nightmares wonder just how in hell Trump made it this far without someone shooting him. Makes one wonder if the citizens of the U.S. were sleep walking when he was voted into the office of the Presidency.

He is insane for thinking he can acquire any mass of land, and it’s not understanding he wants Canada to become a state, and to buy Greenland! Then he states he will retake Panama Canal except it was sold to Panama many years ago!
Trump needs to make clear to Panamanian officials that the U.S. will not stand by and allow China to effectively control the Canal and its operations.
