POLL: Why Did You Skip Church Today?

As a former Roman Catholic, I left the church over hypocrisy! Millions dead forcing Catholic conversion , while stealing gold and treasures from South America, running the black market in Italy during WW2 and making a deal with Hitler to not allow Jews into the Vatican, with a promise not to bomb it! The Church is a abomination of Jesus’s teachings! People he never preached in buildings with pews! He did it on hills shores dinner tables or markets! That’s who I prayed too, today!

Because I was lazy

I was baptized in a Presbyterian church by my parents, blessed in a Mormon church by my grandfather, and I had my conformation in a Lutheran church. I studied religions from around the world. I came to the conclusion that most religions are not that different. We’re all trying to get to the same place, we just take different paths. I became disillusioned with organized religion when it hit me that it was more interested in how much money I gave than it was in trying to save my soul. So I just have my own relationship with God. I don’t try to force others to listen to it and I require the same. If you don’t think churches are more interested in money, then how come they keep asking you for money for God but they give you their address? Think about it.
