A troubling report out of Washington has indicated that no one has had the heart to tell poor ol’ Joe Biden about the recent election results just yet.
“Did anyone hear anything about those election results yet,” asked President Biden, two full weeks after all major outlets declared Donald Trump the winner. “I can’t believe it’s taking so long. Somebody’s gonna tell me when we hear something, right?”
Many close to Biden realize they have to tell him eventually, but several factors have prevented that from happening thus far.
“First of all, nobody really wants to do it, so there’s that,” said an anonymous White House source. “And we started a rock/paper/scissors tournament in the breakroom to determine who had to do it, but then that started all these fights about whether we go two out of three or not, so the whole thing turned into a big mess. We’re still sorting it out.”
“We really should tell him soon though I guess, huh?” he added.
As of press time, President Biden had fallen asleep on the couch again and been carried to bed by Secret Service agents.
Someone should tell him about the election results, in 15 minutes he won’t remember anyway! Glad to see him leave.
