LONDON — Iranian-linked hackers reportedly celebrated a historic cyber victory after shutting down one small British power facility for four days, an accomplishment immediately described by locals as “roughly what happens whenever the wind gets ambitious,” sources have confirmed.
Tehran reportedly held a victory parade.
“We deprived Britain of electricity!” one commander shouted.
A British official checked the grid.
“Which part?”
“The plant!”
“Which plant?”
Long silence.
The targeted generator was so small officials said it posed no threat to Britain’s wider power system.
Britons were initially confused.“Four days?” asked one Yorkshire resident.
“Mother Nature took ours for nine last winter and didn’t even issue a press release.
”Iranian commanders nevertheless distributed medals labeled CYBER SUPERPOWER while British engineers rebooted the equipment and added several new passwords.
