In a surprising twist of fate for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), agents are reportedly being redirected from their traditional role of auditing American citizens’ taxes to instead hunting down illegal immigrants, sources have confirmed.
The new initiative, dubbed “Operation Greenback Grab,” was announced by DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, aiming to ensure that every individual within U.S. borders is contributing their fair share to the treasury—legally or otherwise.
“Who better to hunt down financial discrepancies than our own IRS?” Noem remarked during the press announcement. The shift in focus comes amid growing debates over immigration and tax reform, blending the two hot-button issues into one controversial policy.
Training for IRS agents will now include a crash course in immigration law, alongside advanced lessons in hide-and-seek and tag. “If they can dodge taxes, they can dodge us, but not for long,” joked one senior IRS trainer during a briefing.
Critics argue that this is a misuse of IRS resources, traditionally aimed at ensuring tax compliance among citizens and legal residents. However, supporters argue it’s a cost-effective way to enforce both tax and immigration laws simultaneously.
As of press time, IRS agents were seen exchanging their calculators for night vision goggles and practicing Spanish phrases like “Donde esta tu W-2?”

I still think they need to target all the major wealthy people, specifically politicians who are getting rich off a wage as an elected official. There is no way they should have these mansions and wealth on tax payer dollars.
