Insiders claim that the push to clean up AOC’s district isn’t about protecting families, it’s about protecting business interests, sources have confirmed.
Word is, New York’s long-established red light operators—who for decades have quietly greased palms and “paid their dues”—are furious at the upstart competition popping up on Roosevelt Avenue without paying the unofficial “tax.”
Until recently, AOC managed to keep her distance from the mess by fighting her “good fight” and backing fellow progressives like Zohran Mamdani.
