NEW YORK — Socialist Mayor Zohran Mamdani was reportedly stunned this week after billionaire Ken Griffin failed to return his calls, despite Mamdani’s thoughtful earlier gesture of filming outside Griffin’s private residence and demanding the government confiscate more of his money, sources have confirmed.
“This is conservative aggression,” Mamdani told reporters while standing outside another rich person’s apartment with a bullhorn, a camera crew, and a handmade sign reading Call Me Back, Capitalist.
“All I did was publicly shame him, accuse him of hoarding wealth, threaten his property, and imply he owes me several hundred million dollars. Now he won’t even text?”
Sources say Mamdani’s office has been trying to “mend fences,” which in socialist politics means quietly calling the billionaire for donations while still telling voters he is basically a dragon sleeping on a pile of rent money.
Griffin reportedly described Mamdani’s earlier stunt as creepy and weird, a phrase city officials immediately denounced as “anti-socialist boundary enforcement.”
“This is how billionaires silence working people,” said one Mamdani aide.
“First they refuse to pay every tax we imagine. Then they refuse to answer calls from the guy who filmed their house. It’s chilling.”
Mamdani has since proposed a new “Missed Call Wealth Tax,” requiring billionaires to pay $5 million every time they ignore him.
As of press time, Mamdani was pacing outside a luxury lobby whispering, “Why won’t capitalism love me back?” while preparing a rent-control plan for billionaires’ voicemail inboxes.
Mamdani is a Socialist Communist. He makes promises to people he can’t keep and doesn’t take responsibility for his lying. Send him across the sea to his Muslim brothers. He is ruining New York City. How about coughing up some of your own bankroll…
