WASHINGTON, D.C. — Hillary Clinton briefly shocked Democratic officials this week after accidentally suggesting that calling far-left candidates “socialists” or “communists” might be politically effective because voters could, in theory, understand what those words mean.
Party headquarters immediately went into what aides described as “soft panic with hard paperwork.”
“We’re still investigating how truth got into her remarks,” said one strategist.
“There are supposed to be multiple narrative filters. At least three. Plus a Brooklyn consultant who vetoes anything that sounds like reality.”
Clinton reportedly noticed the issue mid-sentence and attempted to recover by pivoting into a prepared explanation about “misinformation ecosystems,” but the original statement had already escaped into the public, where it was being interpreted without supervision, context notes, or emotional disclaimers.
Within minutes, Democratic leadership convened an emergency “Reality Containment Summit,” where staff debated whether voters understanding words counts as a communications failure or a national security risk.
Pollsters warned of serious consequences.
“If voters start linking language to meaning, we could see a collapse in interpretive flexibility,” one consultant said.
“We’ve spent years carefully separating words from consequences.”
Progressives quickly proposed replacing “socialist” with “economically curious community planner with strong feelings about spreadsheets.”
Meanwhile, Republicans escalated their tactics by allegedly doing things like reading bills out loud and asking what budget numbers mean.
Hillary later clarified that Republicans were engaging in “weaponized semantic proximity to factual adjacency,” a phrase now under review by linguists and possibly astrologers.
As of press time, Clinton has been placed under “soft narrative observation” and may only speak in pre-approved weather metaphors until further notice.

Well she said plainly “I DON’T MEAN TO LIE”, this in itself was a LIE!
Truth always wins out. Looks like the rest of her truth is wrapped up in word salad. PLAUSABLE DENIABILITY?
Remember her at a Congressional hearing mentioning many times “I Don’t Recall” That was her way of not taking the 5th. And probably doesn’t recall the names of some 140 listed people that committed suicide.
