President Donald Trump is set to sign an executive order forcing retailers to print the cost of Biden’s four-year inflation crisis on receipts, alongside what prices would’ve been under Trump’s “golden economy”, sources have confirmed.
Dubbed the “Biden Burden Act,” the policy aims to shame Democrats by showing shoppers how much they’ve overpaid since 2021, with inflation peaking at 9.1% in 2022, per BLS data.
“People will see Biden’s disaster in black and white!” Trump boasted on Truth Social, claiming eggs would be $2 cheaper under his watch.
Conservatives on X are ecstatic, with one user joking, “Receipts don’t lie, but Biden does!”
Liberals, fuming, call it a “propaganda stunt,” arguing inflation has cooled to 2.4% by 2025.
Retailers like Walmart worry about the logistics, but Trump insists it’s “simple math.”
The order also mandates a “Trump Savings” line, projecting hypothetical costs based on his 2017-2020 averages.
As of press time, Biden was spotted at a Delaware ice cream shop, begging for a pre-inflation cone price.
