In his forthcoming memoir, Newsom recounts the soul-crushing experience of having to choose between a chauffeured Mercedes and a chauffeured Range Rover, a decision he now calls “the darkest chapter of my life.”
“I was basically raised by linen napkins and imported truffle butter,” Newsom tearfully explained at a candlelit press conference inside a boutique winery he owns.
“No child should have to endure that kind of privilege without proper trauma counseling.”
