During yesterday’s scheduled Veterans Day remembrance events, a confused Joe Biden wondered aloud if the Groundhog would see its shadow, sources confirmed.
“I think Joe [Biden] completely got his holidays mixed up,” said Mary Martin, a former Naval officer who was invited to attend yesterday’s ceremony. “When I went to shake the Commander in Chief’s hand, he just asked me if I thought the groundhog would see its shadow today or not. Then he said he was going to find it before anyone else and scurried off into the woods. Are we sure he’s fit to finish his term?”
Despite the troubling behavior from Biden, his aides insisted he was fine, as always.
“Look, everybody has their own particular ways that they celebrate certain events,” said Biden administrative assistant Joe Carl. “Some people go trick or treating, some stay home and hand out candy, you know? Just because President Biden spent most of his Veteran’s Day speech talking about whether or not that blasted Groundhog is going to cause an early winter does not mean he doesn’t take the sacrifices of our fallen brothers and sisters very, very seriously. As of press time, Biden had emerged from the White House and answered questions from reporters dressed as Santa Claus for some reason.
