AOC is loudly denying accusations that her Thanksgiving turkey fundraiser is actually a “pay-to-play poultry scheme,” insisting she merely “ate too much” this weekend and that any confusion is the result of “fake news and extremely judgmental lighting,” sources have confirmed.
The controversy began after watchdogs discovered her annual turkey giveaway was no longer connected to actual charities — instead routing every donation directly into her reelection campaign.
Supporters thought they were buying meals for struggling New Yorkers, only to learn they were likely funding AOC’s next ring light, wardrobe haul, or “emergency TikTok equipment.”
Critics are calling the whole operation a “poultry-based Ponzi scheme,” pointing out that Thanksgiving hasn’t even happened yet, meaning the turkeys she’s fundraising for do not currently exist in the physical world.
Even Democrats are reportedly baffled, with one staffer whispering, “Is she… eating the turkeys herself? Is that where the donations are going?”
Staffers stressed the controversy had nothing to do with AOC’s appearance and everything to do with the missing turkeys and the fact all donations mysteriously funneled into her reelection account.
