WASHINGTON, D.C. — Despite requesting over a trillion dollars for “safe spaces, therapy goldfish, and emotional support murals,” Democrats have reportedly found a new way to fundraise during the government shutdown: a concert tour, sources have confirmed.
Led by Chuck Schumer and his backup band The Progressives, the group debuted their latest single, “BLAME TRUMP — It’s His Fault (Always).”
Featuring ear shattering guest vocals from Hakeem Jeffries, AOC, and Nancy Pelosi, critics describe the track as “a screeching anthem of accountability avoidance.”
When pressed for legitimate reasons behind the trillion-dollar demand, the band simply turned up the volume.
“They think if they hold a high-pitched note long enough, reality will bend to their will,” one anonymous aide whispered while clutching a pair of industrial-strength earplugs.
