PARIS: French student activists demanding better education accidentally produced overwhelming evidence for their cause after burning down the building where education happens, sources have confirmed.

“We need more classrooms!” shouted organizer Luc Moreau, standing triumphantly inside what had been three classrooms before his contribution.

Asked why he destroyed them, Luc explained that sometimes you have to think outside the box.

“The box was our school,” he clarified.

His movement demanded new computers after discovering the old ones wouldn’t connect to Wi-Fi while melting.

A teacher attempted to explain that burning thirty desks leaves fewer desks.

Students accused her of spreading conservative propaganda and voted to abolish subtraction.

“We’re building a better future,” declared another activist, dragging the future’s science equipment into a bonfire.

Organizers then demanded free university admission, guaranteed salaries, and government compensation for sneakers damaged while kicking in government windows.

“I shouldn’t have to pay for this,” sobbed one protester. “I’m unemployed.”

“You’re seventeen,” replied his father.

“Exactly. The system failed me.”

Officials offered emergency classes in cause and effect, but attendance collapsed when students learned “effect” meant consequences.

The protest committee nevertheless celebrated a victory: classroom overcrowding had disappeared because classrooms had disappeared. Teachers reportedly declined to comment.

As of press time, students had burned their diplomas in protest, forcing employers to judge their intelligence entirely by the fact that they’d burned their diplomas.

Employers have to judge their intelligence by the fact that their burning their desks, classrooms and diplomas…
That’s a no brainer ! Nothing proves what a dumb-ass you are more than being a dumbass !
I can’t even imagine a Carpenter, Plumber, Electrician or Health-care-technition protesting a slow job market by throwing their tools off a bridge !
Parents need to tell these adult-children, “ You have two years from the day you graduate high school to find a trade school, enroll, complete it, get a certificate and a job to support yourself because either way, two years from that day, OUR basement is getting padlocked !”
“After that, if you want higher education, have at it.””BUT then, it’s on YOUR dime and you can be a dumb-ass and burn down all the shit you want !”

I am of the military 1958-1962 AF-SAC agree with you. I’d include the Draft and the CCC being mandatory (I was subjected to the draft, didn’t like the Army, so went AF, rather drop a load, than carry a load) as was done, and no human harm. Perhaps the inductees would get a real understanding of life and the GI Bill help pay for an education, got a BSME that way and an instrument flying rating all for under $10,000, and tax free.

Isn’t this a shame? Does this make the parents more proud to raise a child that if it has a tantrum, the result is to destroy something. I had a very tough childhood filled with violence and was homeless starting at the age of 16. I made up my mind to join the toughest military branch in the world, The United States Marine Corps. I did not throw a fit because I didn’t get my way or tried to be a “ victim “
I took responsibility and made something of it.

        Semper Fi my brother!
If I were to be the President, I would make EVERY kid join the military for at least two years. Unless they had a mental dysfunction or a criminal. You would weed out the non hackers in a heartbeat.
