In a stunning display of judicial bravado, Sawyer County Circuit Judge Monica Isham is threatening to boycott court unless judges are granted “above-the-law” status, sources have confirmed.
Isham, elected in 2023, emailed state judges, declaring she’ll halt hearings until they’re free from pesky legal accountability, citing the arrest of Milwaukee Judge Hannah Dugan for allegedly aiding an illegal immigrant’s escape from ICE.
“If we can’t bend the law, what’s the point of the robe?” Isham reportedly fumed, per insiders.
She insists judges should be untouchable, comparing courtrooms to “sacred sanctuaries” immune from federal overreach.
Critics, including Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon, call her stance “problematic,” while conservatives decry it as peak liberal entitlement.
Isham’s email even floated raising bail money for defendants, hinting at a judicial GoFundMe.
Supporters praise her “bold stand,” but GOP lawmakers warn of impeachment.
As of press time, Isham was designing a “Judges Rule” bumper sticker for her courtroom gavel.
Judges need to read the constitution and these little peons judges do not have power of the nation they need to stay in there little hole district’s period. That’s why we elect a president to make decisions on a national level. These little asshole judges needed to be fined and removed from the bench for obstructing a sitting president EOs. They need to be impeached immediately if they can’t follow the law and any judge breaking the law should be arrested and jailed immediately. The Chief Justice of SCOTUS should immediately suspend Ishom and remove her from presiding over any judicial cases. Since she was elected, I am assuming she is not a Federal Judge. Voters in Sawyer County should immediately start a petition for her recall. The Governor, or the cognizant election official should expedite the vote on her recall, within legal requirements.
Once removed, she should be charged with deception to obtain a public office and dereliction of duty, violation of her oath and appropriately punished, including jail time and disbarment, along with being banned from the legal profession on grounds of unscrupulous conduct.
