Television newsrooms across the country reportedly suffered catastrophic equipment failure this week after the media’s long-running “Trump Is Finished” hamster wheel overheated, burst into flames, and rolled straight through three studios while anchors calmly continued reading breaking news graphics, sources have confirmed
The malfunction happened moments after producers aired what insiders admitted was their 47,000th segment titled This Is The One That Finally Gets Him, forcing the wheel — installed sometime around the third Russia panel in 2017 — to spin so fast that sparks shot out of the fact-checking department, which had not been opened in years.
Witnesses say several anchors kept running inside the wheel even after it detached and crashed into a wall of unused banners reading Bombshell, Walls Closing In, and Sources Say This Time We Mean It.
Moments later, the same anchors reportedly returned to air and explained with total confidence that they had never said any of those things.
