WASHINGTON, D.C. — Terrified moderate Democrats have reportedly formed a secret therapy circle called “Anonymous Moderates” to cope with the overwhelming fear of being canceled by their own voters, sources confirmed.
The group plans to meet daily in the candlelit basement of a Georgetown Whole Foods, where senators arrive wearing fake mustaches and emotional support cardigans.
Each meeting begins with the same confession: “Hi, my name is Senator, and I think maybe the government should work.”
Attendees whisper about their forbidden desire to reopen the government but fear the “Woke Inquisition” might torch their careers in the name of progressive purity.
One senator reportedly sobbed into a latte after admitting they had “once agreed with a Republican on highway funding.”
AOC’s staff allegedly attempted to infiltrate the group disguised as yoga instructors, forcing the moderators to replace their location with a decoy “Feelings and Finger Painting for Socialism” class.
The organization’s bylaws ban all words that might “offend the revolution,” including “budget,” “border,” and “common sense.”
As of press time, members were debating whether to issue a press release or simply release emotional energy and hope it works.
