Former two-time Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi held a press conference today warning the public of the dangers of not letting her and her husband enjoy the benefits of insider stock trading, sources confirmed.
“Don’t listen to what Fox News and the right-wing media tell you about me and my husband’s completely unethical history of using and withholding inside information about stocks to further ourselves personally,” said Pelosi, wearing a Kenta cloth for some reason. “Please, please, please just let me and Paul keep doing whatever we want. We’re too old to live any other way than what we’re used to.”
While many objected to Pelosi’s blatant request to be corrupt without punishment, others were surprisingly on her side.
“She’s the boss, gotta do what she says,” said President Joe Biden, seeming to think Pelosi was still Speaker of the House.
As of press time, Paul Pelosi had sold a suspicious amount of stock in the Tupperware corporation just days before they announced their bankruptcy.
