California officials declared a state of “existential meltdown” after the Supreme Court allowed Trump’s immigration raids to continue, sources have confirmed.
Governor Gavin Newsom rushed to a press conference wearing a Patagonia wetsuit, warning that ICE could now “storm Malibu surf breaks at any moment.”
He then announced new “sanctuary surf zones,” where undocumented residents may seek protection on paddleboards while signing pre-filled voter registration cards.
Los Angeles city leaders followed suit, unveiling plans to rebrand Disneyland as a “sanctuary kingdom,” where Mickey Mouse will demand papers only from republicans.
Meanwhile, progressive activists staged woke protests on Hollywood Boulevard, chanting, “No raids, no borders, no gluten!” while handing out free therapy pigeons to anyone who looked distressed.
Reporters noted that California officials quietly hired 10,000 “emotional support squirrels” to help residents cope with the trauma of seeing immigration law enforced.
The animals, however, were quickly reassigned to therapy duty inside the state capitol, where lawmakers began hyperventilating after hearing that Trump’s raids would be “faster than Amazon Prime.”
As of press time, Newsom was seen throwing one of his infamous temper tantrums, yelling, “Government’s just not fair, I didn’t get my way!”
