Insiders say the show’s pilot will feature celebrities explaining how ordinary Americans should be less dramatic about public safety, as long as the drama doesn’t involve their own handbags, cars, or designer dogs.
As of press time, L.A. officials had proposed solving the crime crisis by asking burglars to please rob more inclusively, ensuring all neighborhoods get an equal opportunity to participate in the city’s ongoing experiment in calling armed robbery “just a misunderstanding with inventory management.”
