Towering over the skyline like Lady Liberty’s more revealing cousin, the statue sparked immediate buzz, with locals whipping out phones and hot takes in equal measure. Supporters say it’s a celebration of feminine strength; critics argue it’s less about empowerment and more about expensive shock art.

California definitely needs something or someone to identify a woman as they seem to be unable to separate the sexes in any understandable way. Allowing males to use female bathrooms, dressing rooms and infringe in female sports. What they really need is the old fashioned common sense to take effect. Not real sure this statue is the correct way to go about education but it does represent a positive attitude as to the difference in the sexes. Now just place one of a male beside it and just maybe they can tell the difference. Being California wouldn’t make any bets on it though.
INEZ , you are right, and we have a Supreme Court judge who doesn’t know either, which makes me wonder if she knows what gender that she ( a guess ) is. Then again it is not only California which has been trying to “use” woman’s private spaces. That started with Adam and Eve.

For women’s empowerment, I’d like to cast my vote for Rosie the Riveter. For everyone too young to know who Rosie is, do a search. Rosie the Riveter was a symbol during World War Two of women working in factories while the men were gone to war.

I think that the statute is beutiful and represents a liberated woman. Californicates true woke attituce and policies, such as encouraging gender transitions and men in women’s sports, is another matter.
