‘The View’ Campaigns To Be Declared Real News So They Never Have To Speak To Republicans Again

NEW YORK — ABC executives reportedly urged viewers to convince the FCC that The View is a legitimate news organization in hopes of permanently avoiding interviews with Republican candidates, sources have confirmed.

Network insiders say the campaign was launched after producers discovered that pretending to be journalists sounds much more respectable than admitting five people are simply yelling over each other before lunch.

According to leaked memos, executives believe official news status would allow the hosts to continue discussing politics without the inconvenience of hearing opinions that might increase anyone’s blood pressure.

“It’s about protecting democracy,” explained one anonymous producer.

“And by democracy, we mean everyone agreeing with us.”

Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar reportedly stood proudly behind the effort, declaring their commitment to delivering completely factless news with the confidence of people who haven’t let basic research interrupt a segment in years.

The hosts reportedly celebrated the initiative by unveiling a new segment called Mandatory Correct Thoughts, where audience members receive gold stars for nodding enthusiastically and penalties for asking follow-up questions.

Political observers noted that demanding ideological conformity while warning about authoritarianism has become so confusing that several historians briefly pulled hamstrings trying to explain the irony.

Meanwhile, audience members were encouraged to report friends and relatives still consuming unauthorized viewpoints.

As of press time, The View had reportedly announced plans to replace fact-checkers with applause signs, loyalty oaths, and a giant wheel used to randomly select each day’s talking points.

Wow, could it get more ugly than this?? Never did I think the US would embrace socialism and communism. I’m so glad I won’t be around to see the demise of this once great country, as it circles the toilet bowl. What a bunch of fools!!!😢🤬☹️

Yes, as Whoopie wanted Jill Biden to be the surgeon general because she is such a great doctor. I cannot imagine trying to carry on an every day type of conversation with any of them. They are off the planet most of the time.

Obviously satire, not the most telling of which is the fact that the ladies of the view know and have stated many times the rule that news groups on television are required to give equal time to both parties, so this article makes no sense on many levels

One of the things that really doesn’t make sense is that anyone actually takes their conversations on The View seriously, especially for a news resource. They have been caught actually misrepresenting facts and information several times over. Are people that stupid or just naive?

Even if this were true, what difference would it make? The lesbians and frustrated housewives that watch this trash wouldn’t vote for a Republican anyway.

These people really that stupid? Their forum is no where near a news outlet but like a comedy show at best. I have been around many dumb women in my time but these hosts are as dumb as anyone can be. Entertainment is what this show is about.

The view was always a group of hens that made money from coffee clutch gossip. I forgot about them. Wow they are not aging well.

The women of the “view” are a group of narsascistic women brought together to destroy America! They are Communists to their very core. They deceive themselves and think that they are so important! I’d be surprised if they even got 250,000 women to watch their show in any given day, so why are they even on??? Somebody is paying their bills and it’s not the American people. All they do is spew hatred, like venomous snakes, and they are full of evil! Check out the New Testament book of James, Chapter 3 just 18 short verses but very powerful! It’s title is, “The Tongue Is A Fire” Watch out Whoopi and Joy, your gonna burn your own house down! The View has become pure poison. They do very little if any fact checking on their “News” stories. Everything is Donald J. Trumps fault and the current administration has done nothing for the American People except be an “Existential Threat to Democracy”. The script rarely changes. I feel a need to warn anyone who watches ‘The View’ – you’re losing I.Q. points.
