Two hundred and fifty years ago, ordinary men signed an extraordinary promise.
They pledged their lives, their fortunes, and their sacred honor to an idea that had never truly existed at that scale: that free people, not kings, not governments, not ruling elites, should determine their own future.
That promise became the United States of America.
Since then, our nation has endured a Civil War, world wars, economic depression, terrorism, natural disasters, political division, and countless predictions that America’s best days were behind her.
Yet here we stand.
Still free.
Still imperfect.
Still moving forward.
America has never been great because we all look alike, think alike, vote alike, or worship alike. America is great because 340 million people from different backgrounds continue striving toward the same ideals: liberty, opportunity, personal responsibility, faith, family, hard work, and the freedom to build a better life.
This Independence Day carries special significance.
As our nation celebrates its 250th birthday, millions of Americans will gather around backyard grills, wave flags from front porches, thank our veterans, remember those who never came home, and watch children chase fireworks beneath a sky our Founders could only imagine.
Politics will return tomorrow.
Today belongs to America.
President Donald Trump proudly joins Americans in celebrating this historic milestone, this anniversary belongs to every citizen who believes our country is worth preserving and improving for the next generation.
The American story has never been about perfection.
It has always been about perseverance.
It is the rancher before sunrise, the truck driver crossing state lines, the teacher opening her classroom, the police officer beginning another shift, the firefighter answering another alarm, the factory worker finishing another long day, the farmer harvesting another crop, the small-business owner unlocking the front door, the immigrant who became a citizen, the soldier standing watch, and the parents working to give their children opportunities they never had.
Freedom is not inherited automatically.
Every generation is called to protect it.
Every generation is called to earn it.
Two hundred and fifty years after the Declaration of Independence, the American experiment remains the greatest testament to what free people can accomplish when they are trusted to govern themselves.
So today, fly the flag proudly.
Thank those who served.
Hug your family.
Invite the neighbor you’ve been meaning to meet.
Teach your children why this day matters.
Celebrate the blessings we too often take for granted.
And remember that while America has never been perfect, there has never been another nation quite like her.
Happy 250th Birthday, America.
May God continue to bless the United States of America, and may we prove worthy of the freedom we’ve been entrusted to preserve.

GOD BLESS THE USA. and keep Your hand of Grace upon her
