CEUTA, SPAIN — Spanish socialist leader Pedro Sánchez accused fellow European leaders of selfishness after they refused to open their borders during a migration crisis his government advertised like a timeshare, sources have confirmed.
Sánchez explained that Europe’s borders should remain open whenever migrants enter Spain, closed whenever Spain sends them back, and blamed on conservatives whenever anyone notices the contradiction.
Thousands arrived in Ceuta after officials unveiled Spain’s new “Come On In, Probably” policy, complete with million-euro checks redeemable for one expired donut coupon with purchase.
When the exclave became overwhelmed, Madrid demanded every EU nation accept migrants, unpaid hotel bills, broken photocopiers, and Spain’s emotional responsibility.
Hungary, Poland, Italy, and France were denounced as extremists after committing the radical act of remembering where their countries ended.
Spanish ministers then introduced the Schrödinger Border Doctrine, under which the border is simultaneously open, closed, compassionate, fascist, temporary, permanent, and somehow Germany’s fault.
Reporters asking why Spain encouraged the rush were accused of weaponizing chronology and displaying dangerous competence.
Sánchez later held a unity summit where EU leaders were ordered to apologize for failing to participate in Spain’s emergency redistribution program.
As of press time, Spain had reopened the border, closed it again, blamed conservatives, demanded solidarity, and mailed everyone a coupon for a donut with the purchase of a return ticket.
When I was a kid, we had a family garden ! Us siblings were expected to take care of it. One day a sibling declared, “ Dad, I want my own garden ! “
It was agreed that my sibling would get their own garden ! They would take care of theirs and I would take care of the family one. Before too long my sibling successfully lobbied our father to have me help take care of their garden too. Shortly, I was taking care of both ! Of course my sibling was still eating vegetables out of both, yet not taking care of either. This was my first exposure to Socialism, and this is what I learned from my first exposure to it ;
If you do the work, you should have first dibs on the reward.
If you don’t build a fence around what you have worked for, ( garden, household, country ) someone else will steal it.
If you don’t guard against it, those who don’t want to work, will con you into doing their work for them.
If you let them, they will claim “entitlement” to both the reward that was your responsibility
to work for, and you did, and the reward that was their responsibility to work for, and they
didn’t !
This is exactly how Socialism/Communism/Marxism/Leninism works at the most basic level
and exemplifies exactly what is going on, and must be stopped, in our country and around the world !

Joe M you’re so right with first hand experience. Earlier Pilgrims had the same realization. They had community gardens – everyone was supposed to work at some level. Didn’t take long for the gardeners to see that the work distribution wasn’t anywhere near equal and eventually some just stopped working. The unfairness didn’t sit well with those toiling in the heat yet receiving the same amount of produce as those who complained of some aliment or other reason not to work so individual ownership took root.
Send them to Ukraine and now Poland – Free lodging, meals, clothes, appropriate for the weather, spending money, nice hard hats, medical and dental care as needed.
Poland is being one of the smarter countries. Leave them out of it. Hungary is, too. If people were stupid enough to vote for leftists and/or to remain in such unions, that’s on them. I guess Poland is in the EU, so I’m surprised they haven’t been pushed into opening their borders. I guess that membership is why Germany and some others did so over 10 years ago, like when Rome opened it to the barbarians before the end of its empire. Am I wrong? Does Brussels call the shots or is it just the HQ of the EU?

At some time, the state will need to assign jobs, and the “entitled” will either work, or not eat.
Now for a bit of humor, (hopefully).
We just need to raise the minimum wage.
Spain is at 17 euros per hour. They need to be at least 139 Euros an hour.
Then everybody will have plenty of money!
Also make an exit tax. So the wealthy and the successful businesses cannot leave the state. They are so greedy and expect they should be able to be profitable.
Socialism works until they run out of other people’s money. Mandami made promises, other people did not volunteer their money, in fact those who could left. Promises not fulfilled, still nice speeches, however, the reason people expecting free stuff are unruly is because words are worthless unless deeds follow, immediately. There is no patience for, “trust me, I’m working on it.” Other Socialist empires in places like Chicago, L.A., and unfortunately Seattle, also on the brink. State of California is technically bankrupt as are the large cities mentioned. Not enough money in the entire country to fund their agenda. Soon we will not have to worry about the border anymore, because it will be the working people moving out. And those who do not have the resources to flee will be heading to the Southern states. And if there are not any more handouts being funded with their money, the immigrants will not be flooding in. Once the U.S. is broke, oops, 40 trillion and counting, the second largest item on the federal budget, defense is third, wonder which country the Socialists will target next.
The Socialist Republic of Spain – open the border to illegal immigrants that cost the country millions/billions of $ but ban legal tourism that contribute millions/billions of dollars. That’s how socialism works…until it doesn’t, which is inevitable.
Socialism is great, until you realize the harder you work doesn’t get you any farther ahead than the useless human sitting next to you and doesn’t do anything. How many failed attempts and countries are needed before the socialist / communist systems can be debunked?
This all started in our schools, and those children became college professors. I’ve never seen a dumber bunch of supposedly educated people than college graduates
