MIAMI — In a stunning act of selective civic outrage, Miami leftists filed a frantic lawsuit to stop President Trump from turning a prime waterfront lot into a glittering presidential library and hotel, even after officials reportedly sold him the land for the financially devastating sum of ten dollars, sources have confirmed.
“This is an outrage!” screamed activist lawyer Chad von AmbulanceChaser, adjusting his hemp blazer between billable hours.
“Sure, Obama got a similar sweetheart deal in Chicago and built a taxpayer-swallowing monument that looks like a Soviet parking garage for feelings, but that was different. Trump wants something classy that attracts tourists and makes money. We cannot allow that.”
Local protesters waved signs reading “No Revenue Allowed” and “Keep Miami Ugly For Democracy.”
One demonstrator explained, “We support presidential libraries when they cost hundreds of millions, generate lawsuits, and create traffic studies no one reads. But a Trump hotel paying taxes and attracting visitors? That is basically Mussolini with valet parking.”
Legal experts said the lawsuit has the structural integrity of a wet paper straw, but activist law firms remain excited because nothing says “public interest” like turning political bitterness into hourly billing.
As of press time, protesters were demanding the Trump project be moved to a swamp for environmental justice, preferably one with free Wi-Fi for their next emergency Zoom tantrum.

When they have to pay a frivolous lawsuit fine and attorneys fees for the other side, maybe they’ll stop the nonsense. Then again, these are not sane people.
If you are on the left then everything Trump does is wrong. Truly wish he would come out for clean water and breathing daily.
