Mamdani Shocks Far Left By Admitting Mayor Of New York Cannot Arrest Netanyahu

NEW YORK — Mayor Zohran Mamdani stunned his far-left supporters this week after admitting he cannot simply order the NYPD to arrest Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu because he once said words into a microphone, sources have confirmed.

The announcement rocked progressive circles, mostly because many voters had assumed campaign promises were legally binding spells, especially when shouted near a keffiyeh and three ring lights.

But after taking office, officials allegedly explained that the mayor cannot arrest world leaders, rewrite Middle East policy, nationalize the United Nations, or declare Brooklyn an independent sanctions regime just because Twitter clapped.

The left immediately praised Mamdani’s honesty, quietly forgetting they had supported him because of the exact impossible promise he was now admitting was impossible.
