Ilhan Omar, Cori Bush, and other members of the progressive ‘Squad’ drew criticism earlier this week when social media posts made it clear that they’d confused Memorial Day for Christmas, sources have confirmed.
“Happy Memorial Day everybody,” read a since-deleted Tweet of Representative Ilhan Omar’s earlier this week. “I hope all of the good boys and girls get everything they asked for, and that everybody gets to spend some time around the fire, sipping cocoa and singing their favorite carols. Memorial Day is one of the most important holidays we have, and it’s also personally my favorite time of year. Meeting up with the girls later to exchange Memorial Day presents!”
The post drew backlash from citizens who claimed American representatives ought to be more familiar with Memorial Day and what its intended to honor.
“I’m not asking much,” said local citizen Rod Abbott. “But could we maybe not confuse the day we have set aside to honor soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice with something else? I feel like that’s a pretty reasonable expectation for our elected officials. And what was that shit AOC posted about making snowmen? Those girls need to get their heads out of their asses.”
As of press time, The Squad announced that their upcoming annual Independence Day party would feature full turkey dinners, green beer, and a costume contest.
The people that vote them in need to get their head out of their ass!

There was no confusion stop feeding into them ,they knew exactly what they were doing and anyone that believes what they are apologizing for is really no better than them UT was done because they have no love for our country or its laws but I blame the states that allowed them to get elected to begin with that they are the problem!
