WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Trump, fully aware that Chuck Schumer’s “Joe and Eileen Bailey” are imaginary, leaned into the joke by inviting them to Mar-a-Lago for a banquet in their honor, sources have confirmed.
“Look, if Chuck wants to live in make-believe land, I’ll build a hotel there,” Trump said. “Joe and Eileen are welcome. They get the best suite, the best steak, and more loyalty than Schumer ever gave them.”
A red-faced Schumer told reporters the Baileys had “moved to a secret location” and “wouldn’t be attending,” while aides reported he later paced the Capitol rotunda shouting, “Stop stealing my fake people!”
At Mar-a-Lago, two velvet chairs were set with MAGA hats and name cards reading VIP Patriots.
Guests roared as Trump toasted the invisible couple, declaring, “Even pretend Americans know Schumer’s finished.”
The ballroom broke into chants while staff pretended to pass Joe and Eileen extra dessert.
Meanwhile, Democrats scrambled to replace the Baileys with new imaginary supporters named “Skyler and Moonbeam,” self-described climate influencers who campaign entirely through TikTok rain dances.
As of press time, Schumer was seen outside a Build-A-Bear Workshop, demanding a refund for “the bears voice not sounding like his good friend Joe Bailey.”
