Taking time from his ongoing hush money trial to hit the campaign trail, Donald Trump wooed voters in the Bronx yesterday by hosting an impromptu basketball clinic in one of the borough’s legendary street courts, sources confirmed.
“Alright, everybody come down to this side of the court and we’ll get a layup drill going,” said Trump, the 45th President of the United States. “Form two lines and wait for my whistle. After this, we’ll play some 3-on-3 and then I’ll teach you all the mechanics of a good pick-and-roll offense. Hey, toss me that ball. Who wants to see me slam dunk this thing?”
Not only were the children delighted by Trump’s instructional visit, but many parents were impressed with his selflessness as well.
“I think it’s great that despite everything he’s got going on he still was able to come down here and teach the kids some great basketball fundamentals,” said local parent Charles Monroe. “The guy’s got my vote. Joe Biden would never come to this park. And come to think of it, even if he did, I wouldn’t want him getting very close to my son. I’m Trump all the way.”
As of press time, Trump had beaten several kids in a game of H-O-R-S-E after nailing a hook shot from half-court on his first try.
Trump is real, he is honest. That is why so many people hate him. Politicians lie, scheme, cheat, and they hate anyone who just tells the truth.
Trump is capable of motivating and working with people. Obama would stay just long enough for a photo-op. (At best, Biden would take free throws at his teleprompter, then show them how to steal the ball, leaving them nothing to play with.
What a wonderful thing for President Trump to do. Many of the good things he has done for others over the years have gone ignored since he does not brag about his good deeds. We were in such better shape when he was President. Financially the American people were going well. We did not struggle to put food on the table, gas in the car and purchase homes or rent apartments. The Abraham Accords was about to bring peace to the Middle East. We all know what a mess this country is in and hearing him encourage Americans to come together to get this country back on the right track was something special.
President Trump is the best president ever and the democrat party is the worse party ever.
I’m not sure Biden could lift the ball, much less make a shot.
You can’t cheat on the basketball court. However, Biden would yell fowl and get his way. Trump just plays hard and wins! The difference in the two parties…Democrats are poor losers and lie to get their way. Republicans just play the game fairly!!!
