In a stunning turn of events, a large crowd of protesters gathered at a Tesla dealership in Lower Manhattan to voice their discontent with Elon Musk, only to end up buying every car on the lot, sources have confirmed.
The demonstration, intended to decry Musk’s recent business practices and Twitter escapades, paradoxically turned into a buying frenzy as protesters decided the best way to protest was by driving away in Tesla’s electric cars.
“Fight capitalism by fueling it, right?” joked one protester as he drove off in a brand new Model S, his protest sign still dangling from the rearview mirror. Organizers of the event seemed baffled but pleased, noting that their chant, “What do we want? Change! How do we get it? Tesla!” might have been taken a bit too literally.
The dealership, initially alarmed by the crowd, ended up having the best sales day in its history. “We support the right to protest,” said the dealership manager, “especially if it leads to record sales figures.”
As of press time, the group was reportedly planning a boycott of a local steakhouse by booking all the reservations for next Saturday.
And Elon Musk laughed all the way to the bank!!!!!
A very short time ago, liberals looked at Elon Musk as their lord and savior in the evangelistic battle to end the “existential threat” of “climate change.” Now, they are dumping their electric cars, and him ! Why ? Because he has the gaul to try to save everyone, not just” climate change” worshiping liberals like themselves ! Suddenly, stop driving Tesla’s ! Suddenly, screw Elon Musk ! Suddenly, “climate change” is no longer an “existential threat ?”
