Vermont Senator and former Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has been removed from this season of Dancing With the Stars with remarkable speed, sources confirm.
“We’ve been doing the show a long time, and I’ve never seen anything quite like that,” said Dancing With the Stars producer Conrad Green. “Bernie insisted he would be okay to do all the moves we showed him, but then he just kind of froze up out there. Then he ended up just trying to explain why the Dancing With the Stars system was rigged before we cut his mic and moved on to the next act.”
Viewers of the program did not take away Sanders’ intended messaging, it would appear.
“I think he was out there to help with his campaigning for Kamala,” said Dancing With the Stars fan Jessica Armstrong. “But they stopped the song halfway through and announced that Bernie had no chance of winning and that he was eliminated. We didn’t even get a chance to vote for him to advance! I’m not saying he’d be a better dancer than Dwight Howard, but I think he deserved a fair shot. That’s all I’m saying.”
As of press time, Democrats confirmed this was their most embarrassing media appearance since Joe Biden completely botched his episode of Hot Ones.
