A local Democrat was recently seen mailing an early ballot for the 2028 election, sources confirm.
“Never to early to vote, that’s what I say,” said Owen Thorn, a longtime Democrat and advocate for early, mail-in voting. “Why wait until the final debate or press cycle to make up your mind? I just write ‘BLUE PERSON’ on a piece of paper and mail it into Washington D.C., and they always mail me back one of those “I VOTED” stickers, so I sure think it’s working. I’m doing my civic duty by unplugging and doing whatever my party says and I won’t let anyone tell me otherwise.”
Critics of early voting claimed opening the ballots for the 2028 election this early was a bit much.
“A few weeks before the election, sure, ok, if you have to,” said Linda Ellis, a local volunteer that helps count ballots during elections. “But I have ballots getting forwarded to my house for the ’28 election already that are mostly notes from Democrats that say “Whoever’s running” or something to that effect. What am I supposed to do with these? Once again, the Democrats have made a mockery of our election process.”
As of press time, the Democrats had a huge lead in the upcoming 2028 election, according to recent polls.
