LOS ANGELES — Hollywood officials confirmed this week the entertainment capital of the world has officially transitioned into a living museum of what movies used to be, following years of what California leaders are calling “bold, progressive success,” sources have confirmed.
The announcement comes after actor David Spade blasted Gov. Gavin Newsom and Mayor Karen Bass for what he described as a “terrifying” collapse, noting that once-busy studio lots are now primarily used for filming apology videos, compliance training, and documentaries about why nothing gets filmed there anymore.
