A recently pardoned Hunter Biden has announced his participation on a local little league team that otherwise consists of players between the ages of 12 and 14, after his father made some calls to the coaching staff, sources confirm.
“I’ve never had anything like this happen at all,” said Joe Rogers, coach of the Conklin’s Funeral Home little league team. “I just agreed to coach because my son was on the team. Next thing I know I’m getting discreet calls from the President about how his son Hunter needs to play shortstop and that I don’t have any say in the matter. I said sure, as long as it’s not too much of a distraction to the team. Then he got dropped off for his first practice in a helicopter.”
President Biden defended his decision, after swearing for years that he would not make phone calls to get his son placed on a little league baseball team.
“Look, Hunter was treated unfairly by little league coaches all of his life because of his last name,” he said. “Enough is enough. My son deserves the right to play on a little league team just like any other kid in America. And that’s why I went back on my word and pulled some strings to finally make it happen. I hope Americans will understand why a father and a President would come to this decision.”
As of press time, Biden had one 0 for 4 and committed two errors in his debut game for Conklin’s Funeral Home.
