LOS ANGELES — Netflix executives confirmed this week they are officially “done” with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after nearly six years of what insiders described as “an expensive lesson in the fact that no one cares,” sources have confirmed.
The multi-million dollar deal, once hyped as must-see content, reportedly produced several shows along with what executives are calling “historically low levels of interest from a population that has access to literally anything else.”
“We tried everything,” one Netflix insider said.
“Trailers, promotions, autoplay… people still chose to watch cooking shows about air fryers instead.”
Sources say internal confusion peaked when executives realized viewers were not hate-watching, not curiosity-watching — but simply not watching at all.
“At first we thought the numbers were delayed,” one staffer admitted.
“Then we realized… this just isn’t entertainment.”
