Rapaport, famous for yelling whether invited or not, has focused much of his campaign on opposing incoming mayor Mamdani and his rumored “free everything” vision for the city, which critics say replaces law enforcement with vibes and accountability with feelings.
Witnesses reported Rapaport pacing sidewalks shouting, “LOOK OUT MAMDANI, I’M COMING FOR YOU IN 2029,” followed by, “THE ONLY THING FREE IS THESE HANDS.”
With the campaign strategy already in play, early reports delivered instant results.
One would-be mugger demanding his victims “share the wealth” was seen throwing down his crowbar and sprinting toward New Jersey.
Another suspected socialist was overheard saying, “If I’m not getting free rent and free bus rides, I’m moving back to Jersey where expectations are lower.”
