Maryland Governor Wes Moore was reportedly all smiles this week after unveiling a bold new Democrat governing strategy: give illegal immigrants more practical protection than taxpayers while rewarding legal residents with utility relief just large enough to accidentally leave in a pair of jeans, sources have confirmed.
Flanked by cheering aides, sympathetic reporters, and at least three staffers trained to clap whenever he says “working families,” Moore described his latest package as a major victory for affordability, justice, and the sacred progressive art of fixing a problem by causing it first and then announcing a coupon.
Under the plan, struggling Maryland families could save just enough each month to almost purchase a gallon of gas, a sandwich, or one-third of a light bulb.
Moore then celebrated his sanctuary policy, which critics say effectively tells local law enforcement to avoid helping ICE, because in modern Democratic politics the only border worth defending is the one around a governor’s media image.
Supporters insisted the policy was about compassion, fairness, and ensuring that the full protection of government remains available to everyone except the citizens paying for it.
Republicans across Maryland were reportedly left scratching their heads as Moore blamed President Trump for utility pain tied to BGE rate hikes approved in 2023 — the same year Moore took office and two years before Trump returned for a second term — proving Democrats can watch a fire start, pour gasoline on it, and still point at Trump holding an empty matchbook.
As of press time, Moore had announced a second relief package expected to save residents another $4 a year and include a complimentary candle so families could read their utility bill after the power got shut off.

When will Demonrats followers wake up? It’s BLATANT they’re paying illegals for their Demonrat vote! Illegals are breaking United States LAWS by ignoring the Greencard process, often working illegally so those folks don’t even contribute taxes. Those that do have a work permit would get all their contributions back at tax time and make low wages so also qualify for Medicaid-free health insurance, EBT, etc. Meanwhile the MAJORITY of Americans are taxed to infinity with little to no freebies cuz we many times have to work Multiple JOBS to pay that Mortgage or sky high Rent. What about Veterans? I am OFFICIALLY FATIGUED at the corruption of our Government and all the help given to LAW BREAKERS (Illegal immigrants), and expecting us law abiding AMERICANS to just keep sending in those taxes to support all of the corruption.
