Hollywood power brokers have officially endorsed Gavin Newsom for president in 2028, loudly insisting he is “the only man who can defeat Trump,” despite the minor constitutional detail that President Trump won’t even be on the ballot, sources have confirmed.
Doctors have now identified the condition as CTFD — Chronic Trump Fixation Disorder.
Symptoms include:
- Screaming “He’s a Threat to Democracy!” at clouds
- Believing Florida is a mythical realm ruled by Ron DeSantis the Conqueror
- Thinking Newsom’s hair grants legislative authority
One Hollywood producer passionately declared:

As of press time… Hollywood insiders were brainstorming ways for Newsom to redirect his Trump obsession onto literally anyone else, including placing Trump’s photo in random hallways so he can scream at it therapeutically.

Idk where you are from but my guess is not from FL. This DEM lives in one of the wealthiest areas of Florida where gas is cheaper and the price of eggs is cheaper yet but you will need to pay crazy prices for housing in a place where more NYers come to stay and live, where housing is very expensive and mostly for the wealthy and ultra wealthy. DeSantis sold us to the highest bidder and is a Trump sychophant and basically Hegseth is conducting war crimes off the coast of Venezuela and passing the buck throwing Admiral Bradley under the bus. I would be surprised that Bradley and many other war hero’s leave the greatest navy in the world in the next several months. It is hard to learn the truth when all you do is tune in to state television (Fox news) and read right wing publications (Daily Skrape). I participated in a protest this past weekend where Trump flies into PBIA and spends $200K per hour lying on AirForce One, 5 million dollars with all the police escorts, bomb sniffing dogs, shutting down portions of freeway with his motorcade, sucking up your and my US paid taxpayer dollars. I don’t know if I feel protected by this predator in chief. The truth hurts, everybody needs to take their head out of their derrière and wake up to the fact that this is a soul crushing billionaire who cares little about the common man, who spends most of his time with millionaires and billionaires, profiting off the poor and flying Qutar donated 747 for when he retires from federal service, destroying everything that is American including the US constitution. DTJ. Is fleecing Americans before their and most everyone seems to be protecting him and his way of life. Is anyone better off than they were during the first term of his presidency? I am not. I expect to be homeless or close to homeless but most any one will not care. You will turn away because J speak the truth. Most everyone here is out for their own best interest, bearly getting by as Trump and his minions profit off our backs while we work one Maybe two or three jobs to make ends meets and are told we are lazy or pick up your boot straps, your weak, callous sayings, cynical attitudes because we all feel taken advantage of by the ultra rich and with no chance to get ahead let alone work in a decent profession because Trump is trying to dumb down America.
If your not happy in Florida leave and try somewhere else…
If you can’t make it working two or three odd jobs, take out a loan, go to a good trade school, pick up a marketable skill set and earn the amount you need !
JM – thanks for your compassion and guidance. But, you seem different. I will try on your suggestion. Maybe other DEMS will join me and live in a more compassionate place where people have a heart and place,,where affordability is the main focus,, housing, and the cost of living is the main focus, not building rocket ships, and spending hard earned tax payer dollars on pipe dreams, and not a lot of empty promises by republican political leaders or electric cars. Maybe while I look for this place I will utilize my free.time to focus on supporting DEM candidates who have the common man in mind, who are true leaders , which should not be hard to find, (Governor or US POTUS) who has the backbone, and who is loyal to the US Constitution and our democratic way of life, no matter where I go, who cares about the poor, vulnerable, and the downtrodden. Personally, I recently retired from federal government, due in part to a medical condition; but healthy enough now. I worked 40 plus years in various careers including personal banking, and more recently in social work, helping at times broken families, and the the formerly homeless, who contributed, I’d like to think more to society than not., I am excited to continue to fight for the most vulnerable, to make a better life for themselves, have a heart for the most vulnerable among us, to help the poor and underprivileged. I am white and educated and care about the common man. Most of those on this blog seem more bent on getting ahead, then helping others.,But you seem different. No, you offer kindness and compassion, I did not know that this existed on the more conservative side. I remain hopeful to find more people like you. here, It always seems like it is about accumulating more stuff like George Carlin would say. Onward and upward. The majority of things Trump does are the fix the Biden mess. Why are interest rates high? The “Inflation Reduction Act”. Why are people fleeing NY and CA, driving housing prices up in FL and TX? No cash bail, unrestricted immigration and high taxes. Why are energy costs so high? The war on fossil fuels when “green energy” is not yet sufficient to meet demand. Pushing electric cars is a policy of the dems. Republicans support freedom of choice. Dems don’t give a darn about the constitution. If they did, Kamala never would’ve been the candidate. All they care about is power.
