Former President Joe Biden reportedly caused confusion at the Jesse Jackson memorial service this week after mistakenly believing the event was an eighth-grade graduation ceremony, sources have confirmed.
Witnesses say Biden approached the podium smiling proudly before congratulating the audience on “making it through middle school,” adding that the future looked bright if everyone “kept their grades up and stayed away from Corn Pop.”
According to several attendees, the moment grew more awkward when Biden leaned into the microphone and reminded the room he was “still the smartest kid in the class,” prompting a handful of mourners to politely clap while others quietly checked the program to confirm they had not accidentally wandered into a school auditorium.
