Boston Mayor Michelle Wu declared that enforcing federal immigration law would “devastate democracy,” since it would deport “the very voters who keep democracy alive,” sources have confirmed.
Wu told reporters that without undocumented residents, “Democrats would be forced to rely on actual citizens — a scenario too horrifying to contemplate.”
To protect Boston’s ballot supply, Wu unveiled Project Sanctuary Suffrage, a sweeping initiative that not only grants voting rights to undocumented residents but also their Wi-Fi routers, therapy crystals, and three Revolutionary War ghosts who “still lean progressive.”
Citing internal polling, she claimed these new constituencies have a 99% approval rating for free college, free housing, and free avocado toast.
Wu proposed a federal compromise: ICE can deport illegal immigrants, but only after each one casts twenty mail-in ballots and names a new pronoun.
“That way,” Wu argued, “everyone wins, and Republicans never govern again outside of Facebook comment sections.”
Critics suggested the plan undermines faith in elections, but Wu dismissed them as “people who still believe math is real.”
As of press time, Boston officials were finalizing emergency legislation granting full voting rights to potholes, therapy dogs, and every Dunkin’ Donuts bagel left unsold after 3 p.m.
Just deport her problem solved. If there are that many stupid people still voting for democrats then they deserve what the voted for and keep getting screwed all the time. The Daily Skrape is an outstanding investigative news reporting organization. They did neglect to report every unregistered voter who registers to vote for the first time in the next election will receive special treatment. They don’t even need to vote themselves. The local democratic committee will cast 10 votes for the democratic candidates on their behalf.
