WASHINGTON, D.C. — House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries accidentally live-read the Democrats’ internal strategy manual during a televised tirade against the SAVE Act, pausing only to blink like a buffering YouTube video, sources have confirmed.
According to witnesses, Jeffries began passionately denouncing voter ID as “authoritarian,” then casually admitted that voter ID laws already exist, are routinely ignored by Democratic-run states, and that enforcing them would be “electorally inconvenient.”
Behind him, a massive teleprompter briefly flashed DO NOT SAY THE QUIET PART OUT LOUD, before exploding into a shower of glitter and donor talking points.
Panicked staffers dove for the podium, desperately trying to switch the feed to a loop of Jeffries intoning the word “democracy” in different keys.
One intern was reportedly heard whispering, “He skipped to Page 47 — the illegal one.”
Jeffries doubled down moments later, insisting that “laws are real, but like… spiritually optional,” while unveiling a new Democratic policy platform titled Selective Compliance: A Bold Vision.
He concluded by proposing that IDs be replaced with “Good Intent Certificates,” signed by any barista who once read a tweet about equity.
Republicans thanked him for “refreshing candor,” while legal scholars updated textbooks to include the new doctrine of Vibes-Based Legality.
As of press time Jeffries was still searching for the line in his script that said, “Stop talking now.”

CNN surprisingly of all media exposed Jeffries’ hypocrisy and stupidity when the anchor challenged his resistance to voter IDs by informing him that blue state Virginia has voter IDs and has a significant Democratic trifecta so “Why not drop the opposition to voter IDs?” Dembo Jeffries responded by pivoting to the usual TDS excuse that Trump wants voter IDs so he can steal elections. It’s beyond me why anyone with half a brain would vote for this clown.
