Democrat hopeful Gavin Newsom is reportedly struggling in swing states because he cannot locate them on a map, let alone pronounce them correctly, Sources have confirmed.
At a recent campaign stop, Newsom introduced himself to voters in Scranton by declaring, “It’s great to be here in the Napa Valley of Pennsylvania.”
He then asked where the ocean was and whether Uber Black could “swing by the barn.”
Staffers say his campaign prep involves flashcards of states that aren’t California, though he keeps mixing up Georgia with a “new farm-to-table restaurant in San Francisco.”
When asked about Michigan, Newsom said he loved their sparkling water brand.
Meanwhile, JD Vance has been eating cheeseburgers in diners and shaking hands at tractor pulls, which experts say is “a lot more relatable than offering voters hair gel samples and a coupon for oat milk lattes.”
Political analysts predict Newsom may skip the Midwest entirely, focusing instead on a new strategy: winning swing states by renaming them “Napa East” and “Malibu North.”
As of Press Time, Newsom was seen staring at a U.S. map, asking aides if Wisconsin was “the one shaped like a martini glass.”
