WASHINGTON, D.C. — Hungarian officials have reportedly offered White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt the newly created position of Minister of Truth Bombs, sources have confirmed.
The announcement came moments after Leavitt’s now-legendary verbal carpet-bombing of “fake news” reporters, which left half the press pool clutching emotional support microphones.
Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, visibly impressed, allegedly leaned over to President Trump and said, “Can I borrow her for Hungary?” before signing an executive decree on the spot.
Leavitt’s role will include “educating fragile journalists on the concept of reality” and “banning buzzwords that make adults cry,” according to early drafts of Hungary’s Freedom of Common Sense Act.
In a diplomatic response, U.S. officials reportedly offered to send CNN’s entire newsroom overseas “as a gesture of goodwill and comic relief.”
As of press time, Hungary has also unveiled plans to erect a 30-foot bronze statue of Leavitt holding a microphone and a shattered fact-check in downtown Budapest.
