After Venezuelans gathered outside the White House chanting “Thank you, Trump,” progressive activists reportedly rushed in to correct them, explaining that freedom can feel confusing at first and they’ll eventually miss socialism once properly re-educated, sources have confirmed.
Witnesses say activists armed with clipboards, megaphones, and unpaid campaign internships immediately informed the crowd that their gratitude was “problematic.”
“We do this for the people,” one organizer allegedly said, gesturing broadly, “just not these people. They don’t understand their own oppression yet.”
Several Venezuelans attempted to explain years of food shortages, political prisoners, and fleeing a socialist dictatorship, but were quickly interrupted by activists insisting those experiences were “anecdotal” and “influenced by American vibes.”
One protester reportedly asked a former political prisoner if he had tried journaling about Maduro’s intentions.
Trump supporters nearby watched silently as leftists demanded Venezuelans lower their voices, stop smiling, and return to an approved level of despair.
“This is liberation,” one activist allegedly clarified, “but you’re doing it incorrectly and without our permission.”
President Trump declined to comment, reportedly satisfied letting actual Venezuelans speak for themselves, a move progressives described as “dangerously effective” and “deeply unfair.”
As of press time, activists regrouped to draft a statement explaining why listening to the people is only valid when the people agree with them.

It’s is so very, very SAD that the idiots trying to tell someone who has lived under a SOCIALIST DICYATORSHIP that they don’t know what Freedom and liberty are in real life. The people who are trying to convince the people have lived under oppression should be sentenced to CUBA for ten years and then they can t a lks to all of us.
I agree, I have been all around south America and remember their country fondly.
