New York socialist darling Zohran Mamdani celebrated his latest brilliant plan to slap a massive new tax on luxury second homes owned by the ultra-wealthy, promising it will magically cough up $500 million a year while everyone claps politely, sources have confirmed.
“Those evil people with part-time penthouses are already paying sky-high property taxes, but they barely use our amazing city services like subway rats, $9 coffees, and being screamed at by a guy wearing one shoe,” Mamdani reportedly declared while waving a “Tax The Rich” banner made from recycled campaign promises.
“So obviously the solution is to tax them even more until they flee faster than Democrats after a debate.”
Economists in this totally real scenario warn the plan could turn New York’s legendary exodus into a full stampede, with wealthy part-timers loading yachts onto flatbeds and racing to Florida, where Ron DeSantis will personally greet them with steaks, sunshine, and no new socialist math.
“We’re gonna tax them! We’re gonna make them pay! We’re gonna… watch them leave forever,” Mamdani sources chanted as moving trucks headed south.
Instead of chasing revenue, New York is now chasing its own tail as capital flees, property values sag, and job opportunities evaporate.
As of press time, Mamdani had proposed taxing rich people who already left, which officials say should raise $400 billion in imaginary money.
Doubtful any of his destructive negative policies will affect Muslim families. But that is the idea right?

I’m not quite sure why Governor DeSantis is welcoming these New Yorkers with open arms. They take their progressive liberal ideas with them when they move. The danger is that a large influx of “Blues” might turn the state “Purple” from “Red.” That’s what’s happening in NH, VA, and soon TX. Be careful what you wish for Ron.

Absolute danger!! There is no doubt those crazy liberals will (do) take their politics with them to the exile states, that’s why Florida, Texas and Georgia amongst others are now electing leftists. WE have to be very careful about which aliens we let out of the deep blue states.
