Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent is reportedly terrifying the political elite by committing the unspeakable crime of using common sense in public, sources have confirmed.
Every time Bessent answers a question with logic instead of hysteria, the DNC sends out an emergency fundraising email labeled “CRISIS — HE’S USING FACTS AGAIN.”
When Bessent casually mentioned that two plus two still equals four, one reporter accused him of “numerical aggression” and demanded a calculator that “respects lived experience.”
During one press conference, Bessent asked a journalist to “think independently,” causing the reporter to shriek, faint, and later file an HR complaint for emotional violence.
Witnesses say another journalist tried to challenge Bessent’s data but immediately began sizzling like a vampire exposed to daylight.
Progressive activists stood outside the Treasury building chanting:
“STOP THE MATH!”and“REALITY IS OPPRESSION!”
One Democratic strategist, trembling, told MSNBC,“Bessent uses facts like weapons. We prefer vibes. Vibes are safer.”
Elites now claim they fear his “extremist approach to facts,” warning it threatens the delicate ecosystem of feelings-based policymaking.
As of press time… activists were demanding Bessent be banned from using logic within 500 feet of a microphone “because it hurts morale.”
