As he prepares to leave the White House after serving just one term, President Joe Biden gave a speech highlighting all of his major accomplishments that really didn’t take very long at all, relieved sources have confirmed.
“Oh wow, that was the shortest one of these I’ve ever been to,” said local journalist Pete Benson. “He ramped up like it was going to be a regular speech, but then he just mumbled a few things about creating jobs and then sort of wandered off. I could tell it was over for real when no one wrangled him back toward the microphone. So then we all just applauded and took off.”
“The whole thing took about four minutes,” he added.
The speech, while short, drew glowing reviews from several media sources, including MSNBC and CNN.
“Wow,” said MSNBC’s Joy Reid. “What an inspiring speech. It really makes you wonder what great things he might have accomplished in a second term if he hadn’t unfairly been pulled out of the race after giving a historically bad debate performance that will be studied for years as far as how not to perform in one of those. What a terrific President we’re saying goodbye to.”
As of press time, Biden forgot whether or not he’d delivered his speech and started it again, just to be safe.
At least the mainstream-media won’t continually go to him for comment about President Trump’s decisions like they did with ol’ Jimmy Carter for so many years.
Her certainly won’t be missed by anyone with a modicum of intelligence.
