Inside sources from President-Elect Donald Trump’s camp have confirmed that he’s having more trouble building a recently purchased cabinet than anticipated.
“What the hell,” asked Trump, after he couldn’t get two pieces of the recently purchased IKEA cabinet he was building to fit together. “I did this before and never had this much trouble. Did they change the pieces around or something? I swear, this shouldn’t be so hard!”
Executives from IKEA defended the integrity of their products.
“The instructions and materials are fine, it’s not our fault the cabinet was constructed without thought,” said IKEA CEO Jesper Brodin. “If Trump would just read the rules and make sure he’s using the right tools, there should really be no problem getting the cabinet finished. Just use a little common sense, ok? Nothing too weird.”
As of press time, Trump said he missed having Mike Pence around to help with these kinds of projects.
